Tray Denesters designed and manufactured by Waldrop Company provide an economical method of dispensing a variety of stacked trays onto your production line. In the marketplace for a number of years, our denesters are proven products that can dispense trays at high throughput rates with repeatable accuracy. Whether you are a baked goods supplier packaging cup cakes, or a poultry producer packaging fresh meat products, these items can benefit your operation.
Our tray denesting units are constructed of Grade 304 stainless steel. These units are suitable for placement in harsh wash-down environments. Numerous tray shapes are supported including: rectangular, square, round, oval, and octagon – virtually any shape available in the marketplace. Tray compositions supported include foam, surgical plastic trays, plastic “tubs”, paperboard, etc.

Model 125 Tray Denester
Our most common denester we offer is our Model 125 Tray Denester. This denester offers direct integration into your existing conveyor system with minor or no modifications required. The Model 125 Tray Denester accepts consumer trays in a vertical stack and dispenses a single tray upon command from integrated equipment. Denester utilizes rotating shafts to singularly separate trays from vertical stack.
Model 125 Screw Denester
The Model 125 Screw Denester offers direct integration into your existing conveyor system with minor or no modifications required. The Model 125 Screw Denester accepts consumer trays in a vertical stack and dispenses a single tray upon command from integrated equipment. Our screw denester technology utilizes four (4) progressive lead screws to separate a single tray from the vertical stack. As the lead screws separate this single tray, the remaining stack is supported and staged for the next separation and dispense. This screw technology is driven by a single AC motor.
Model 112 Tray Denester
The Model 112 Tray Denesting unit is essentially the same as the Model 125 Tray Denesting unit with the added feature of vacuum assist. The Model 112 Tray Denester accepts consumer trays in a vertical stack and dispenses a single tray upon command from integrated equipment. This Tray Denester utilizes rotating shafts and vacuum assist to singularly separate trays from vertical stack.
Vacuum Reciprocating Tray Denester
The Vacuum Reciprocating Tray Denester will accept consumer trays in a single vertical stack or multiple vertical stacks and dispenses a single tray from each stack(s) upon command from integrated equipment. This denester utilizes vacuum cups to singularly separate trays from vertical stack and place into customers equipment carriers or desired location. This denesting method is chosen for instances where our standard denesting units are not suitable for the item being denested.
Model 238 Tray Feeder
The Model 238 Tray Feeder provides ample tray inventory for the Tray Denester and integrates seamlessly with our Model 112 and 125 Tray Denesting units. This unit provides tray inventory support to supply tray denester with vertical tray stacks. As the tray denesting equipment dispenses trays, the feeder equipment replenishes vertical stacks to the denester chamber. This unit provides additional efficiencies as multiply tray stacks are loaded to the feeder system and dispensed to the denester as required. The Tray denesting and feeder equipment are integrated to communicate the need or call for additional trays.
