Tray Denesters / Tray Droppers
The Tray Denesters designed and manufactured by The Waldrop Company provide an economical method of dispensing a variety of stacked trays onto your production line. In the marketplace for a number of years, our denesters are proven products that can dispense trays at high throughput rates with repeatable accuracy. Whether you are a baked goods supplier packaging cup cakes, or a poultry producer packaging fresh meat products, these items can benefit your operation.
The Model 112 is a standalone unit which offers a heavy service of operation with the vacuum assisted feature. This unit is suited for irregular or specialized tray types. The vacuum assist also provides for greater throughput rates. The Model 112 is constructed with a standalone cabinet complete with in-feed conveyor. The Model 125 denester offers direct integration into your existing conveyor system with minor or no modifications required.
Constructed of stainless steel, anodized aluminum and Delrin®, these units are suitable for placement in harsh wash-down environments. Numerous tray shapes are supported including: rectangular, round, oval, and octagon - virtually any shape available in the marketplace. Tray compositions supported include foam, surgical plastic trays, plastic "tubs" or paperboard.

Here are some the benefits and features of our denesters:
- Full integration into your existing packing line. Our denesters can function as a standalone units incorporated into your existing packing line equipment or purchased as a complete solution with custom conveyors and automated loaders.
- Increased throughput. The Denester will pace the line - the line will not be driven by the speed of individual packer personnel.
- Increased cleanliness of trays. Unit eliminates contact between line personnel and tray.
- No contact to inside of tray. Pre-padded trays do not present a problem as on standard vacuum pick and place denesters.
- Fully wash down units.
- The unit uses less space because tray stack is vertical.
- Lower operating costs. Since there is no reciprocating motion to wear out linkage or vacuum cups, the unit requires minimal spare parts, which means no costly replacement parts or downtime.
